Lessons on life love and How to Wear Skinny Jeans

1. Learn how to wear skinny jeans. It looks like they are here to stay so here are the steps.
Step 1. left leg, right leg
Step 2. Wriggle around.
Step 3. Jump,
If you're not in them already repeat step 2 and 3 and if that doesn't work give them to your younger sis.

2. The only thing you should be faking is confidence. If you don’t have it yet, pretend you do. In every new situation, pretend you’re not nervous, pretend you’re not afraid. After a few times doing this, the pretend part disappears.

3. Never stop planting good seeds. This applies to our relationships, your marriage, parenting, your business, career, you name it! You might be a control freak but allow God to be God in your life and you will remain happy. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. (1 Corinthians 3:6)

4. Fellowship! That word means a lot more than compulsory church get-togethers in someone living room. It means conversation. It means praying together. It means talking about what God is doing in your life. It means building up others who feel down. It means NO GOSSIPING! If you're a Christian, you need other Christians to help you out. Discourage the Pull-Her-Down attitude. We need other Christians to give us encouragement and to listen to us. We need advice, and you need to give it when you can.

5. Show compassion. This is always usually mu answer to the question WWJD? (what would Jesus do?) However, when meeting someone new and he or she seems to be acting silly, show compassion first. If after you display your sincere compassion they are still acting up, walk away. If they follow you, call the police. lol!

6.Want to try something new like writing, teaching, running your own business? Get on the Internet and google it! there are so many resources on the net or you can do things the old fashioned way which would be to go to the library (if you can find one) or a few friends or parents of friends and borrow books on the subject.Skim through them all, find the ones that have the most vital information and study them. Then see number 2.

7. Flowers, whether freshly cut or potted are never a waste of money. Because every time we glance at them, they remind us how much beauty there can be in the world and they give us a sense of well being (if we let them) Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. Matthew 6:29

8. Don’t become a soup kitchen for the emotionally homeless. To know that a person’s life has been enriched solely because of your influence, your very existence, feeds the ego in an indescribable way. So you date an abusive, needy obsessive psycho guy, playboy, no-religion guy, et. al — You feel I’m important." I have value. I matter."You pour all of your energy into their betterment, their dreams. You feed into their brokenness and they feed into my need to save them in order to avoid your own need to be fixed. You need to get liberated from your incessant need to be loved and honored, you should actually live with a consuming desire to see God loved and to see God honored.

9. Its alright, its OK! A friend of mine hates it when people say that because if it is really alright, you usually don't need to be told. But anyway, if you start to feel a little apathetic about God in your walk, know that all Christians go through stages of doubt and depression, but with the Lord's help, they can (and do!) escape them.

Most importantly, simple advice like the above should be passed from parents to their children to keep them from making the same mistakes. Most mistakes can be prevented that way (cause and effect), in spite of the fact that people tend to want to learn the hard way, on their own (which is sometimes necessary). In life, there are so many things to learn, we should be thankful that we live and have our being to carry out the task assigned to us. I hope I've awakened a desire in you to live life happily and with contentment by valuing the beautiful things around us that we most of the time, take for granted.

Stay Blessed
